Volunteering

We are now recruiting role-players (re-enactors) to work with us at the upcoming Village Renaissance Faire.

In addition to our many independent volunteer theatre, dance, and musical acts (Contact Us to get involved!), the Village Renaissance Faire also hosts its own Village Renaissance Players, who create their own original personas to interact with the crowd throughout the day and to put on several stage shows each year, including developing skits, scenes and audience interaction.

Volunteers are also needed for the following duties:

1. Ticket Sales & Hand Stamping
2. Program Distribution
3. Craft Table Staffing
4. Street & Stage Entertainment
5. Interactive Play Area & Period Games Assistance
6. Stage Setup & Dismantling
7. Anything Else We Might Have Missed!

Volunteer opportunities are available at the many craft tables, period games, interactive play area, and, of course, street and stage entertainment. Your partnership can include showcasing your talents, your volunteerism, or even creating a medieval or renaissance themed fund-raiser to be held at the faire.

Shifts are available on Saturday and Sunday. If you or your organization can fully staff an activity for either or both days, we will gladly include you. In addition, there is a need for additional help to construct the environment in the months leading up to faire, set-up the week before, and to dismantle Sunday evening.

The faire grows two-fold every year so please help us make this event a success!

All community participants will receive guest passes for free admission to enjoy the Faire and welcome at volunteer appreciation activities. We call upon you to join us and spread the word of this hallmark community event so that all will attend, enjoy, and return year after year.

In whatever capacity you choose, please come help us bring the merriment of medieval and renaissance times to life.
